3 Winter Storm Effects That Can Cause Damage

Snow Buildup - Similar to ice, the sheer weight of snow can cause a roof to sag or buckle.

Melting - When the above two conditions are present when temperatures warm, the water can cause flooding.  When ice or snow on the roof melts, it can leak through, causing water damage and mold on that level.  If the water pours to the ground, it can make its way into the house through the lower level.
